Therapy with Adolescents

Sessions: $150 (50-60 min.)

I offer individual therapy to adolescents (aged 15 +). There are a few topics that I like to cover before a minor starts therapy.

First and foremost, clients who are minors often need the same privacy and confidentiality in counseling as do adults. I make every effort to maintain necessary privacy in the therapeutic relationships with minors, while keeping parents/guardians appropriately informed about the child's progress

In order to comply with any court-related issues, I will request a current updated parenting-agreement plan if the parents are divorced. If both parents are not able to come to the initial appointment, I may ask that you bring written consent from the other parent to ensure that both guardians are supportive of their child receiving treatment.
